Career History & Experience

Dr H.V.S.Chauhan is Executive Vice President, Indofil Industries Limited. He started his career in the Industry from 1975. He did his PhDin Agronomy from prestigious Haryana Agricultural University. By training he is an Agronomist with specialization in weed control. Dr. Chauhan worked in various capacities in Sales and Marketing. In 1991 He joined the then Ciba Geigy ( now Syngenta ) as head of Product Research and Development. During his tenure in Ciba Geigy many new products were registered for the services of Indian Farmers. In 1991 he took over as head of Agro Business Division in Indofil Industries Limited. Today Indofil is one of the fastest growing agrochemical organizations in the country.

He is credited with developing the company's business in the International Agro Chemical market. Since then the company is on a high growth path and has distribution arrangements in around 51 countries. He has vast knowledge of domestic as well as International agrochemical market. He has attended many symposiums and seminars at various national and International forums.

He is Vice Chairman on board of Crop Life India and is a board member of another national agrochemical association, Crop Care Federation of India. He actively participates for the cause of Indian agriculture and the Industry. These two associations play an important role in formulation of national policies on Agriculture
