Career History & Experience

Mr. Sartaj S. Singh is the Country Manager and Managing Director of FMC India Private Limited since its incorporation in 2000. During this period, he has overseen FMC APG operations in South West Asia, South East Asia and now holds additional charge of the South & East Africa geographies.

Mr. Singh is a graduate from St. Stephen’s College with Honours in Economics, and completed his MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad in 1980.

During his 32 year career, Mr. Singh has served in reputed organizations like ICI, Cargill and Monsanto.

Mr. Singh’s career has been profiled as an ‘Entrepreneur Manager’ in the Tata-McGraw Hill publication ‘THOUGHT LEADERS’ which validates a common source-code for exceptional performances by 22 profiled professionals (including Messrs Narayan Murthy, Deepak Parekh, Dr. Mashelkar, Anu Aga and Kiran Mazumdar …..).
