Mr. Partho Lahiri, Chairman and Managing Director, Isagro Asia (a 100% subsidiary of Isagro SpA) is having more than 25 years of rich experience in Agro Business Sector.

Mr. Lahiri has formal educational qualifications in Agronomy, Chemistry and Business Administration from reputed institutes.

Mr. Lahiri has held different senior executive positions in reputed companies like McLeod Russel Plc., Sandoz India Ltd., and Searle India Ltd. He is having indepth knowledge of Agrochemical Industry in the Asia-Pacific region which helped him to play a pivotal role in the acquisition of Agrochemical business of RPG Life Sciences by Isagro SpA, Milan.

He was appointed as Managing Director of Isagro Asia in 2001. He became the Commercial Director, Australasia region in 2006. He is also the Chairman of Isagro Shanghai PRC.

Apart from the above portfolio, Mr. Lahiri is also heading the Association of the Research-based Plant Science Industry as the Chairman of Crop Life India which consists of large MNCs and Indian research-based agrochemical companies as their members.
